All current True North owners agree that one of the most popular features of the boat’s “open concept” interior is the “galley-up” configuration, and the Outboard Express is no different. Serious cooks love the large and well-equipped galley and everybody loves being up in the center of the action.
Design Makes the Difference
The Outboard Express performs exceptionally well on flat water in fair weather. But its unique ability to handle rough weather and stormy sea conditions is one of the many elements that sets this boat apart. The sharp, plumb bow slices through the waves instead of pounding on top of them when the seas build. The hull’s balanced displacement and flatter aft sections deliver a rock-solid ride in virtually all weather conditions. And since the hull design is inspired by boats that work all year long in all sorts of conditions, we can almost guarantee you won’t miss a day on the water (or be stranded in port) when the weather takes a turn for the worst.

The True North 34 Outboard Express is built by highly experienced craftsmen in Largo, Florida. True North is the brainchild of boat builders who have a created some of the most successful powerboats and sailboats of the last 25 years. The combined boat-building experience of the True North team is measured in hundreds of years and you can see the quality that only that kind of experience can produce in every boat we build. And we take requests! Some of our adventure options were ideas that our owners brought to us. If you find a new toy or a new way to stow a piece of gear, we’ll engineer a solution that will make it easier to use.
Models
The True North 34 is a twin outboard engine express with a variety of outboard engine options from both Yamaha and Mercury. An optional bow thruster and joystick controls provides additional maneuverability. The award-winning True North 34 Outboard Express combines timeless Downeast good looks, outstanding all-weather performance, and a spacious interior with the efficiency, speed, and shallow draft that the outboard engines provide.
True North just introduced the 39 Outboard Express featuring even more space and luxury in a triple engine package.
